BANGO Jeffery Thomas Anthony Bango, age 58, October 31, 2008. Member of The Sons of Italy. Preceded in death by parents Emil and Idoma, son Guiliano and brother Michael. Survived by children, Tabitha (Brian) McQuade, Michelle (Michael) Butler, Emilio, Seraphina, Vincenzo (Misty), and Angelo; grandchildren, Vincent, Dominik, Isabella A., Michael, Isabella F., Gianna, Julian, Alexander, Chase, and Gavin; sisters, Pam Gill and Suzanne Kellogg; sister-in-law, Joanna Bango; aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends received Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at THE MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High Street. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High Street. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.

I remember the day Jeff and I met. He was in the front yard of Glendon Road and I was walking down the street toward him. He asked me my name and we talked a while. Soon after, we quickly became good friends in school and in life. I was lucky to know him as a youth and later as an adult. Love, hugs and prayers to the family members and friends of Jeff. Dear Pam And Susie (as we knew you) I'm not sure you'll remember me and my family but we were your neighbors on 26th Avenue when we were younger, the Nubers. I'm Sharon the second of eight and I remember your family very well especially Mike because he caught a peeking tom with my mother's clothes prop when he caught him peeking at your mother. Now Jeff I remember because him and Mike were very good looking young men and very polite. I can't imagine how you girls are holding up after losing your parents and now both of your brothers. We've lost dad in 2000 of a heart attack and my brother, Roger, killed himself in 1999 at 44 while mom is now in a rest home in Sunbury, Ohio with Alzheimer's diease. I'm divorced since 1977 with two children a daughter, Kim, who will be 34 on Christmas Eve and a son, Jason who will be 38 on the 16th and was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and is taking chemo treatments. Jason has never married he's always lived with me or his sister mostly me since I have alot of medical problems and his cancer is a blow we are handling with faith. Please accept my sympathy and know that you all hold a very special place in my heart. It is sad that people don't keep in touch more often. God be with you all at this trying time. To all the family, I ofcourse remember Jeff as the little boy, who kept bugging Pam and I whenever we were together. Through the years, I would run into him or see him at family functions, and he always gave me a big hug and would talk about the old days. I know he is in a better place and with Michael, Amy and ofcourse Idoma he will have even more love around him.

In loving memory of a very intelligent, extremely charismatic and spiritual man whom I'm glad I had the opportunity to have some pretty amazing discussions with.

Two things I found to be non-coincidental.....first, Seraphina just gave birth to a baby boy. It's my belief that a life had to go for this new life to begin. Secondly, he died on what we call Halloween which is traditionally called All Hallow's Eve and was celebrated on the same day as All Saint's Day long ago. Read:

All Saints' Day (also called All Hallows or Hallowmas), often shortened to All Saints, is a feast that commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in heaven, while the next day, All Souls' Day, commemorates the departed faithful who have not yet been purified and reached heaven.
